About Us Tampa Taekwon-Do Center

Tampa Taekwon-Do Center offer classes for people of all ages, promoting Fitness, Self Defense, and Moral Character through the Art of Taekwon-Do.

The school offers afternoon and evening classes for children and adults. The international and national experience headed by Sabum-Nim (Int'l Instructor) Edward J. Dávila, Black Belt IV Degree, City of Tampa Instructor, has made possible bringing to the South Tampa residents the opportunity to learn ITF Taekwon-Do as developed by Gen. Choi, Hong Hi, Founder of Taekwon-Do. Mr. Dávila started at an early age in 1980, and since then has been training in ITF Taekwon-Do. He is a certified international instructor, loves to share his knowledge of the art, and has the expertise to meet the criteria to qualify his students to Black Belt holders. The school participates in local, regional, national as well as international events.

Tampa Taekwon-Do Center (TTC) is affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), the international organization founded on March 22, 1966, with headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Its founder was General Choi, Hong Hi, who passed away June 15, 2002. Grand Master Pablo Trajtenberg is the new president, elected in a democratic way in the congress of the ITF.
